My name is Risa Katz, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who’s spent years helping people heal, connect, and discover themselves more deeply — emotionally, mentally, and yes, sexually.
Over the years, I’ve co-led sex-positive workshops with a close MD colleague, where we talked openly about sex — especially the parts many people were never given permission to explore. We focused on getting to know your body, discovering what feels good, embracing pleasure, intimacy, and masturbation, and seeing sex as something that can be safe, joyful, and self-affirming.
Now I’ve teamed up with someone new: my husband. Together, we created Pleasure Treasurz because we believe pleasure isn’t a luxury — it’s self-care, connection, and expression that everyone deserves to access freely.

Let’s be real: a lot of us grew up with confusing, shame-based messages about sex.
